Juneteenth Banner-Raising Dedication & 17th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee
Amherst, MA, June 15, 2026–On Friday, June 19th from 3-6PM, the Black Business Association of Amherst Area (BBAAA) along with Sankofa Gumbo present the 17th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee incorporating Mass Humanities’ Reading Frederick Douglass Together program. A banner promoting the Juneteenth event will be hung over South Pleasant Street in Amherst starting Monday, June 15th.

The Black Business Association of Amherst Area (BBAAA) in collaboration with Sankofa Gumbo invites the public to a family-friendly, free event to celebrate the sixteenth annual Juneteenth Jubilee on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at St. Brigid’s Church, 43 North Prospect Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with doors opening
