WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU

Our Story

Our Story

In 2016, a group of dedicated black business owners came together to establish the Black Business Association of Amherst Area (BBAAA). Originally known as the Black Business Association for Pioneer Valley, our aim has always been to support, network, and empower each other in the pursuit of business development and growth. While the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our regular meetings, we remained connected and resilient. In 2021, we proudly adopted our new name to reflect our focus on the Amherst Area. As we look ahead, we’re excited to resume our monthly meetings in January 2023, continuing our mission to foster a thriving community of black entrepreneurs.

Our Mission
